This made it possible to increase the wear resistance of parts of this type, thereby increasing the service life of the turbocharger. O-rings for a turbocharger are one of the most important and complex products in plant engineering. They serve to seal the gas-oil unit of the TKP. The rings are installed on the rotor shaft, the rotation speed of which can reach 200,000 rpm. To work in such conditions, the O-rings must have high elasticity – to prevent rotation, high wear resistance – for long and stable operation of the unit, and impeccable geometry – to prevent oil leaks.
